  1. There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom (by Louis Sachar) is a great book that was written for children in grades 3rd- 5th, but I still love it!!! It portrays powerful message about people's differences and liking who we are.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is searching for who they are but also to anyone who just wants a book to make them think.

  2. The Little Princess (by Frances Hodgson Burnett) is also a great book that is also good for children in 3rd- 5th grade.

  3. If you want something verrrry different--AND you aren't afraid to read stories that are a little scary (you're not frightened, right? Right?!)-- then check out Neil Gaiman's Coraline. You may have seen the movie, but there are differences with the book. Neil Gaiman is a very famous and award-winning science fiction and fantasy author. He writes books for children, young adults, and grown-ups. Coraline is appropriate for middle-school aged kids. This is one book you WILL remember!
