What's your favorite book? Why?

What's your favorite book? What made you discover your favorite book?  Why were you drawn to that book?  I always ask myself so many questions when I am reading.  Sometimes I even wonder how I found this book.  My favorite book is Whirligig by Paul Fleischman.  I still don't know why that is my favorite book.  Everyone is drawn to different things. Some people choose books based on the covers, others by the summary and some based on the author.  To tell you the truth, I had never even heard of this book or the author until the lovely librarian at my school recommended it to me for a
Literature Assignment.  I don't know how, but I ended up falling in love with it.  Maybe because of the way Paul wrote it, maybe it was because I liked the story line or maybe even I just liked the characters names.  I actually still don't know why I loved that book so much.  Even though I still don't know exactly why I liked it so much, I would still recommend to anyone over the age of eleven.  On the left is the cover of Whirligig and hopefully one day you will enjoy the book as much as I did.
